While I was editing I realized that it is very tedious to do and extremely time consuming so I obviously began with my cover photo. At first I thought I might use the photo that she was facing straight towards the camera and removed the background on Adobe Photoshop. I did the same for the picture I took at an angle and then decided I wanted the angled picture. I also used the background eraser tool to remove a part of her shirt that was semi-untucked which was pretty neat because if not I would have had to go back and take the picture again or put it on the magazine like that. After I finished with everything to do with the background I checked to see if I could make the picture more vibrant. I set the vibrancy a bit up to make her skin glow and also put auto contrast which made the black in her vest pop out a bit more. It was my first

time working with a picture in Photoshop and I did not want to add too many effects because throughout my posts I have mentioned I wanted a natural look and I feared if I started messing with the picture too much I would make it look artificial. I documented the pictures process by taking screenshots of my laptop which you could see below. I also mirrored the picture so her shoulder would be on the right because I knew that in my cover the Venus sign would be to the left so I didn't want to clutter the cover. The next picture I began to work with was one of the feature spread pictures and let me tell you, removing the background was no easy task. I wanted to remove the background because I didn't think it was nice enough to be on the magazine and I guess since it wasn't just a solid background like the grey wall in the previous picture, it was much more difficult. I decided on this picture because it was nice and straightforward, I think I might edit another photo to put on if this one is not enough. The issue with this one was that the life preserver kept getting erased. Once I finally got it I added brightness to the picture and saturated the color just a bit. So that color of the life preserver would pop just a bit more like I was hoping for.

The final picture I decided to edit was one that might just use for my table of contents of me and my friend Jenny. I editing this one on my phone in an app called Adobe Photoshop Fix. I took out the background like I have been doing which was once again, not an easy task and brightened the picture quite a lot as well as sharpened it so the image could be just a bit clearer.I think the coolest thing I did was make my skirt reach until the edge of the picture with the healing tool because there was this awkward space between the edge of the picture and my skirt.
