Critical Creative Reflection

Analyzing My Table of Contents

In my table of contents I added features to attract my target audience and to keep them engaged. First off, my models are within the age range of my target audience, they are 18. They are obviously happy and smiling, wearing bright colored clothes, (yellow and bright blue) and have flowers in their hair which is just the right aesthetic that I was going for. This picture was nice and girly and really feminine in my opinion which is perfect because I am trying to reach a female audience. Behind the models are pictures of plants and orchids that I took myself and they tie in the feminine aspect once again. The articles are made specifically to target all type of women so I want to go into an analysis of my articles since that is kind of the main focus in a table of contents. In my articles I made sure to include different age ranges and interests. Putting Together My Table of Contents

     FLOWERS! I finally got to add my flowers like I said I would at the beginning of this project! I feel like the table of contents is my favorite part of my magazine so far and I am now going to explain how I put it all together.      At first I thought I was going to use the picture to the right as my main picture. So I started editing that one and I didn't really like how I had that hair in my face so I went on photoshop and added hair using the healing tool. That was really cool because I would have never thought that I would be editing photos to that extent. Once I finished, I thought that the edit looked a little odd and then I realized that I didn't really want to use that picture because I wouldn't know where to put my anchorage. Eventually, I decided on the picture to the left. Originally it was one picture but I as able to split it in photoshop and even add the page numbers around each of the models.
